Metallica will make a appearance on the first episode of Later... With Jools Holland, when it returns to its live slot on September 16 on BBC2
Other notable appearances on the opening show include Sir Paul McCartney, Kings Of Leon, Carla Bruni and Nicole Atkins.

Awesome, Jools Holland is wicked. I love the interview that he did with them on the show around the Load era, Lars is pretty talkative and Jaymz is just like grunting one word answers.

Metallica and Carla Bruni.. hehehe. Btw whoever asked why Carla Bruni will be on Jools Holland, over in the land of the land where a Draw is considered something of an achievement she is not just known for her abitlity to keep Monsieur Sarkozy happy, she also has some sort of music career.
