Anyone else find it odd that huge names like Metallica and U2 are mentioned in a short sentence at the end of the article? Not that this was much of an article, though. Nothing against Arcade fire, it just seems like a new Metallica album is a little more monumental, no?
Well you've got nothing to write about Metallica's new album if there is no information about it really.

I don't understand what takes them so long. I say get in ther in September and be done by June.....album in August! How bout that?
You're high on glue. That's how bout that...
No band finishes recording in June and releases in August. One of my favorite bands finished recording in May/June and their album wont be out until October 9th.

Like clipping hedges, it takes time to properly clip an album.

They kept talking about how the studio became a place of execution not writing when making DM, and yet it still took them the better part of two years.

Awesome, this drag could very well be due to them not having a record deal, and Mercury is a record label for those wondering.
No record deal? Metallica has been with Elektra/Warner Bros. since 1984. Have I missed something?
