No one has any info? Please I'm dying to have every version of Death Magnetic.
I have:
Retail CD
Guitar Hero ver.
Moderus III (I+II included)
Marck III
DM & Arts [Remastered Edition] (p.s. it's pretty good)
DECIFER Remix

Need
Vinyl (Retail Copy)
AND- a rip of the Vinyl
The only way to get this if i buy the Vinyl which I already ordered, send it to a professional that converts Vinyls to CD than burn the CD on my Computer OR I buy I Vinyl player that connect to the computer than through Audacity record the songs. A lot of work/money for a Vinyl I can play anywhere (I can always just play at home but I prefer having it on CD and my MP3 player as well)

I found rips online but only one works and it's bad, TWJYL is cut and is only 5:30min long!

Please can anyone help?

The vinyl release sounds absolutely terrible. It's just a different kind of terrible, so if you would prefer it over the CD version is a question of personal preference.

That comes after having downloaded a .flac vinyl rip shortly after it was released, I haven't actually heard it played from a physical vinyl although that wouldn't make much, if any difference.

I know its not a great mix by any means but if you take a look at the article i posted there is a substantial difference. i tried effortlessly finding a good rip to download. but to no avail  if you or anyone else help it will be much appreciated i just want all forms of it so i can compare them all myself.

Im gonna get it too. I just need the Rip of it (in WAV format preferably) so I can take it with me anywhere plus be able to compare it side by side to the CD or MOD III or GH version or what ever. But... I do not have a way to rip the vinyl to my computer cause i down own the proper equipment. Fortunately Dirty Rotten Scoundrel said he will rip it and upload it :)

Yeah I have been looking around amazon and eBay.ca and this album is pretty expensive when you add in the shipping, at least $50. I am trying to find a brand new copy for a reasonable price.

That alright bro I'm just happy to know your willing to rip it and upload it cause I'm just not able to.

Oh and try a site called Deep Discount I got live Shit set for 20$ brand new while other places it was at least 35 and up.

So considering I ripped this for the board back in 2008 on a Sota Cosmos/SME/Helikon tubed set up from the 5 LP 45rpm version I am truely surprised you cant find a vinyl copy. This was also the copy used by Ian Sheppard the mastering engineer when he published his work that the vinyl was different than than the digital. I am sure you should be able to search the archives and find the links.
