Damn right!Lineup just improved astronomically, with those two alone.
Makes me think how epic it would have been with a full bill of proper metal bands.

Plus, Metallica has put out enough music that "isn't teh br00tal" to play along with some alternative bands.
Fans who came in because of Load/Reload will like the alternative bands (along with some other fans), and the rest will get to watch Suicidal Tendencies, AX7, Sepultura, Red Fang, etc.
I think they should add maybe one more big metal name tho. Another big name in any other genre wouldn't hurt either. But I am happy with the current band list.

I was amazed to see that as well. Pretty much the only country act on the bill. He's one of the frontrunners of the new country (ala Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, etc) that has been coming out for the past couple years. Really diverse acts for this festival, pretty cool.

I approve of this festival. Shame I can't go, y'know because of economic and geographical difficulties.

It's a beautiful, beautiful hipster fest.
Yeah, I thought I was watching a trailer for Bonnaroo. But I think it's really cool to have very different bands. That's the whole point of festivals for me. It's the best way to discover new bands...bands that you wouldn't listen to otherwise. Few of the artists on the trailer already caught my attention.
This is a bit extreme, though.
This festival needs more metal bands. You know, there are tons of great and unknown metal bands and I hope Metallica remember them as well.
I'm also excited to hear The Call of Ktulu live again.

Not sure if this is new or not, but Ghost are booked now apparently! Cool.
I haven't heard! Good news their really cool. I knew they'll eventually be on cause James is a fan of theirs. Still want Machine Head and Mastodon on the bill.
