Which just shows you that it was supposed to be on Death Magnetic.
haha Amen to that.
I wonder if the Justice For Audio guys still hang about here.
Damn... where is Moderus these days?
Enjoying the song.
But unless he gets stems, I don't think there is anything he can do about it.
hmm, dunno, I reckon there could be a little work done.
Back in 08' we didnt let such simple things get in our way. haha
I'd rather listen to it brickwalled than to the fan edits that came out in '08.
They didn't play "Fuck the Click"? WTF!!!!!!!
Regardless of what people are saying, Lulu actually had class sound. And then people need to consider the way it was recorded; with lots of mic leakage and short time span. Haven't heard Metallica that heavy in a long time. Makes me excited for the new album, and hopefully Lulu inspired them to do something slightly more conceptual than Death Magnetic. My gut feeling tells me the next metallica album will have a better production; Lulu being a stepping stone to achieve a better sound.

lulu is not a stepping stone to anything. again if it weren't for these 4 new songs metallica's rep would be in the toilet. i suggest you read the facebook/youtube comments.
Because facebook and youtube comments matter? Nerds online talking crap while hiding behind a computer screen is pretty meaningless.

your kidding right? if you look everywhere almost everyone hated lulu. and yes the fans opinions DO matter.
Not the opinions of fans on Facebook/YouTube/Blabbermouth.

I would say otherwise. Just about damn near everyone owns a computer these days.

If only I could remember the link to the article speaking of how they have Rick Rubin on board for the next album, plus that Lars is well aware of the extent of the brickwalling issue, and didnt realize at first how widespread opinion was.
If the above from that article (again, wish I could remember the link) is in fact true, then we can only hope.
I have no doubt that the Rubin sound is good for Metallica though. Who else remembers that mystery producer/Andy Sneap rumored mix of BB&S?
