I wasn't such a huge a fan of either until very recently, and now I think Dyers has some of my absolute favourite lyrics as well as some brilliant riffs.

So Dyers, then!

Not really a huge fan of Damage, so this one goes to Dyers.

Dyers purely for the lyrical content. Plus the double bass, plus that melody in the middle of the solo.

But of late Damage has grown on me. More fun to play on guitar and a perfect middle riff. Both are in my Met top 10.

Damage to me is superior in almost every way...except for the solo.

Damage, Inc.

..and it's not even close. Dyers Eve; a fast song with lots of double bass and cheesy lyrics. Not that great.

Both are good BUT that middle section in Damage, Inc made me vote for it!

Studio, probably dyers, live, damage, no question about it.

Damage is very close though, probably not going to vote on the poll.

I would say that I've once listened to a live version of Damage Inc., which is FAR better than the original version though IMO the original one is great enough to be one of my top 15 Metallica songs.

Dyers is one song I never get tired of listening to.
