Moderus IV

I was listening to DM ModIII last night, and it reminded me how much I can get completely lost in the music, when times are crazy. It's like therapy.
I am happy with the way ModIII sounds, but I can't help but wonder what access to more stems for better mixing/separation/soundstage would do for DM.
Do we care?
By the way, flame away. When you read and flame a topic such as this, you do care. Otherwise...
So let it burn bright.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the BB&S remix use drum samples from the Black Album kit?

So, now that we know that Moderus and Bryston have more/better stems, do we care?
If they can make it sound better, sure.

Speaking of that, did anyone ever figure out who made it?Yeah, it definitely could have sounded a lot better if recorded properly or if we had proper stems. Mod 3 is good, but the album needs to sound like the BB&S remix.

Yes, I'm pretty sure it did.IF there ever is a Mod IV, I'm sure it'll be different than the other 3.

Well, if it indeed used TBA samples, then I think the best guess would be Randy or Bob or someone.Speaking of that, did anyone ever figure out who made it?

Possible, but it could have been anyone using a sampled drum kit like the Metallica kit here: http://www.stevenslatedrums.com/Well, if it indeed used TBA samples, then I think the best guess would be Randy or Bob or someone.

I care... Moderus III is, for me, the definitive mix out there right now. But if it can be improved, then sure... why not?
Is a Moderus IV in the works?

As long as I don't have to move a finger, I have no problems with it.The quality of the music does not deserve any more work being put in by those two. III works perfectly, and it would be a waste of time making it sound better.

Sometimes what works does need improvement.
This might also explain my headphone obsession.
