This STILL DOES NOT give me a reason why Ronnie is bad. Give me even just one solid reason why that song is not good in any way.
And I don't care if a song is "metal" if it's not a good song. SKOM has boorish-sounding riffs that just pound away and never go anywhere, fill-in-the-blanks lyrics, and a song "structure" that destroys any interest the material could have had.

Those are specific reasons why I don't like the song. REASONS.

And shqmartin, why don't you like My World. That's my favorite Metallica song, no joke.

I think the riff sounds really ZZ Top like...I don't think it's the worst Metallica song, but it's "very forgettable." I think that is why everyone bashes it.

Given that I literally can't listen to Free Speech For The Dumb without getting a headache it definitely wins the award for worst cover.

Worst actual Metallica song... Everything on Reload needs a second listen for me to appreciate it but based almost entirely on the maddening lyrics Invisible Kid.

Well, i think they don't like it mostly because it's far away from traditional metal song and may be because of it sad/tragic story.
i like the song and the way James narrates it.
Although, i have a problem with Slither, i don't understand it.

I bet you can fill at least two albums of bad to mediocre songs. Come to think of it..that's a lot considering the amount of albums they have put out in total..
Ah well, at least the first 5 were great and that's also not something a lot of bands can say.
